The Procedure

The laser procedure is typically performed under topical anesthesia, but can be done with local anesthesia or with sedation, if requested. The length of the procedure depends on the individual patient and what needs to be treated.

The Recovery

The recovery after the treatment varies based on the type of laser and the type of treatment performed. For the CO2 laser, you will have about a week of raw, red skin. After that, you will have several weeks of redness that will slowly fade with time.
