Brow Lift

The eyes are the first thing that people notice about each other and also are one of the most powerful means of non-verbal communication. When the brow has drooped down too low, the face has a tired or fatigued appearance. Elevating the brow to its appropriate position leads to an improved appearance that makes the individual look better rested and more youthful.

What to Expect

The procedure may be done under sedation or even under local anesthesia and takes less than an hour to complete. There are a variety of methods that can be used for browlift. The method used for a particular individual depends on that individual’s needs. The incisions are hidden either behind the hairline or in a natural crease that hides the incision. The brow is elevated, which helps improve the aged and tired appearance of the eyes.

The recovery is typically about a week, although bruising and swelling can persist for a longer period of time. Most patients can typically resume work by about 6-10 days and can resume normal activities by 1-2 weeks.
